Catering for riders of all levels, Sophie and Portland are available for dressage, jumping and cross-country lessons at their property in Herne Hill. Their encouraging and empowering way of teaching has produced a great deal of success with her students.
Sophie and Portland privilege an ethical and sustainable way of training their horses so the welfare of your horse will be paramount during their evidence-based training.
Sophie and Portland happily coach riders across the disciplines, from eventing and dressage through to reining and endurance. Riders of all levels and ages are catered for, from the beginner rider right through to elite competitors.
Sophie and Portland are available for learning theory clinics covering dressage and jumping or cross-country. Their coaching is clear and concise leaving riders motivated and ready to take on their next challenge.
They also hold Pony Camps (14 years and under) and Young Guns Camps (14 years - 60+ years) at their property in Herne Hill. These are a great day out for the equestrian enthusiast. Bring your horse and enjoy two lessons, lectures and lunch. Usually held during the School Holidays.

Lectures and Demos
Sophie and Portland are available for presentations, demonstrations and lectures from foundation training to eventing and dressage training. They can talk to a wide range of audiences on training, learning theory, the history of horse training and much more.
Over the past few years Sophie and Portland delivered lectures to physiotherapists, equestrian enthusiasts, High Performance squads, Off the Track WA clinic participants, Pony Club Australia coaches, elite level riders and university students. Their recent presentations on ‘From stop, go and turn to dressage’ and ‘From stop, go and turn to jumping’ as well as the 'Horses Hate Surprise Parties' lecture have been very well received by a wide range of audiences.
